TASC wrapped up a wonderful week of service!

Throughout the week, our teams served in a variety of ways, including painting, mulching, landscaping, deck repair, and many other projects to bless the community.

On Friday, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved day of refreshment, sunshine, and fun at a local lake before heading home early this morning.

We are so grateful for everyone who made this week possible, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, time, and energy. God truly blessed this week, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to serve together!

Day one of service here at TASC!

It wouldn’t be a true Michigan day without the weather changing on us! We wrapped up a little earlier than expected today due to thunderstorms, but our crews were still able to accomplish a lot.

Already on day one, we’ve been encouraged by the students’ positive attitudes and willingness to jump in and serve. We’re excited to see how God continues to work throughout the rest of the week! Please continue to remember students and sponsors in your prayers as the work is just beginning!

Our covenant youth and sponsors have arrived safely at Dordt University for this year’s RYS Convention!

This year’s theme is “Abound in Hope” from Romans 15:13.

Please remember our students in prayer this week, that they would be encouraged through both new and familiar friendships, grow deeper in their love for one another as the body of Christ, and, most importantly, grow closer to the Lord during these formative high school years.

Community Day was a wonderful day full of fellowship, face paint, pickleball, and Chick-Fil-A!

Thank you to everyone who came out, served, participated, and helped make Community Day such a special time together. We are thankful for the opportunity to gather together, connect with our community, and share the love of Christ with those around us. To God be the glory!

Please keep our Covenant youth and sponsors in your prayers this week as they serve on TASC (Teens Actively Serving Christ) in South Dakota and Vermont through next Saturday.

We are thankful that both groups arrived safely after full days of travel and are now settling in for a week of serving. Please pray that the work they do would be beneficial, that hearts and lives would be touched and changed, and that through every task, conversation, and moment, the LORD would be glorified and praised.

May this be a week of growth, encouragement, and experiencing God work in ways seen and unseen in His Kingdom.
