Remembering 9/11

Today, we pause to remember and honor all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and all those whose lives were forever changed by that day.

We pray for the victims, their families, our first responders, and all who continue to carry the scars of 9/11.

May we never forget.

Help Us Stock the Shelves! 🛒❤️

Our new Food Collection is underway at St. Aloysius, and we’re collecting non-perishable food items to help support the Caldwell Food Pantry.

If you’re able, pick up an extra item or two on your next grocery trip and bring it to church. Every donation helps provide food for a neighbor in need.

In the hush of an ordinary moment, someone near you may be carrying more than they can say.

Father, forgive me for rushing past weary hearts, using words that dismiss, or keeping my distance when someone is hurting. Clothe me in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Give me eyes that notice, a heart that lingers, and the grace to be present without needing to fix, perform, or find perfect words. Let my quiet attention reflect the tenderness of Jesus.

“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” : Colossians 3:12.

Pause and take one slow breath. Think of one person who may be carrying something heavy today; before speaking, ask God for one gentle word or a quiet, unhurried presence.

Who is someone you can be gentle with today : even without perfect words?
