“My Lord, what a morning, when the stars begin to fall.”

There is a kind of darkness that isn’t about the lights being off — it’s the darkness of feeling like light itself has gone missing from your life. This week’s message, When the Stars Begin to Fall, sits honestly in that darkness before it dares to name the hope that meets us there: a God who takes the sound of the world unraveling and turns it into a trumpet call.

After an incredible week at VBS earlier this month, it was time to celebrate the teens who gave their time, energy, and big hearts to make VBS 2026 so special!

From helping with activities and games to encouraging our 41 campers and being there wherever they were needed, these teens worked hard all week—and we are SO grateful for them! 🙌

Today we celebrated their hard work with some friendly competition at Topgolf ⛳️ followed by an amazing hibachi dinner 🥢🔥.

Thank you to our incredible teen volunteers for being such an important part of Road Trip: Mission Ahead! We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

We’re excited to launch The Avenue: After School Kids Club at First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell!

Kids in grades K–5 are invited to join us every Tuesday at 4 PM for an afternoon filled with sports, art, homework help, and learning together. Each afternoon will end with a meal for kids and their families, followed by our other Tuesday night programming open to everyone!
