Join us at ICC as we enjoy a beautiful Lord’s Day with lovely weather and a host of blessings! Some are sensed: keenly while others are claimed in faith, but we are truly loaded with His goodness today!

The Covering sermon series continues as we examine the Atonement ceremony involving the scapegoat in Leviticus 16. Points shared are 1. The Scapegoat, 2. The Weight of Guilt, 3. The Real GOAT, & 4. The Greatest Decision of All Time.

What are you going to do with your guilt? The truth is so simple. You have only two options.

You can carry it yourself.

Carry the shame.

Carry the regret.

Carry the weight.

Or…

Christ can carry it.

Today at Indian Creek Chapel we start a six-week journey that walks from Genesis to the Resurrection, tracing the growing tension between human brokenness and divine perfection. Each week will center on a tangible object that visually reinforces the truth, We cannot close the gap between us and God. Only Jesus can. The object lesson today was a shirt that looked more like swiss cheese. It was holey, and not in a good way! It would do little to cover the uforntanate chap that had to wear it. The text today is Genesis 3:1-11, & 21 and the message title is The Covering. There are 2 simple points to be studied; 1. The Great Cover-up & 2. The Great Exchange.

I am so glad to be a Christian! There is nothing in all this world that can compare to knowing that your sins have been forgiven and that the very root of sin has been cleansed away by the blood of Jesus! He has changed my life entirely and placed a burning call on my heart to preach the Gospel and help others find the peace I now enjoy. My wife supports my call, shares my burden, and will join me in being a true friend to you as we journey toward the city. We believe that a real profession in Christ will result in a change of living that the world around us will see. The sins we confess before the Lord are forsaken forever and the desire for sin is completely removed from our hearts. We live carefully in the context of I John 1:7 “If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin. This is possible only because of the great love with which the Father loved us. As a church, we desire to share God's love with the world around us. If you live in the great Treasure Valley, please receive this warm invitation to visit our services, currently being held in area home chapels. And if you should be passing through, and need a place to worship along your journey, you will find a welcome here. I know that God the Father is doing His best to prepare our hearts for Heaven. No one needs to be lost, there is safety and security in Jesus, The Light of the World. Run to his loving arms and remember that He, who knows you best, loves you most!
