Prayer of the Day: O God our shepherd, you know your sheep by name and lead us to safety through the valleys of death. Guide us by your voice, that we may walk in certainty and security to the joyous feast prepared in your house, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Our Savior's Clean-Up Day
Our Savior's Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, starting at 8:30 am. The rain date is May 2nd.
Faith's Clean-Up Day
Faith's Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd at 8:00 am. We will be edging, trimming, raking, etc. The rain date is the following Saturday, May 9th. Hope to see you there.
Last Day of Sunday School
The last day of Sunday School is on May 10th. Thank you to the Sunday School teachers, coordinators, volunteers and kids.
Confirmation at Faith
Confirmation will be held on May 17th, at 8:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church. Confirmands include: Wyatt Easterday, Brayden Klatt, Kinnick Christensen, and Tucker Cline.
God Squad
God Squad has T-shirts for sale. The shirts are $20.00. Please see Heather if you are interested in purchasing a shirt to help support God Squad.
Christian Outreach Committee Note
A great big "Thank You" to the Calamus Lutheran Parish from the Christian Outreach Committee and the Carroll Assistance Center. A total of 92 jars of peanut butter were collected during Lent. The Carroll Assistance Center was overwhelmed when they received the donation. Peanut butter is in great demand and this gift will help to keep the shelves stocked.
Seeking new Education Committee Members
Two volunteers are needed to serve on the Education Committee – one from Our Savior’s and one from Faith. One does not need to teach Sunday School to participate.
Friday Bible School
Friday Bible School "Jonah and the Big Fish" will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church. Friday Bible School is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. **Looking for Volunteers for Bible School - if you are interested in volunteering, please contact a member of the Education Committee**
Calamus-Wheatland Fun Days Basket Raffle
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Basket Raffle for the Calamus-Wheatland Fun Days in August. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Andrea Shelton or Nicole Easterday in the church office. If you would like to donate baskets, items for baskets or monetary donations, it would be greatly appreciated.
Choir Sheet Music
If anyone is interested in Choir Sheet Music from church, please fill free to look through the box and take what you would like. The Choir Music is in a box in the church office. The sheet music will be put in the recycle bin beginning of May.
