A good marriage feels boring to people addicted to chaos.

No screaming matches.
No blocking each other on social media.
No dramatic breakups or makeups.

Just consistency.

Two people who talk things through instead of blowing things up.
Two people who don’t confuse anxiety with passion.
Two people who don’t need constant emotional highs to feel connected.

And to some people, that looks dull.

But peace isn’t boring when you’ve lived in survival mode.
Stability isn’t boring when you’ve known unpredictability.
Being chosen every single day without games isn’t boring.

It’s safe.

A healthy marriage doesn’t keep you guessing.
It doesn’t thrive on tension.
It doesn’t need chaos to feel alive.

It’s steady.
It’s calm.
And it’s built, not performed.

And once you experience that kind of love,
you stop craving fireworks
and start protecting your peace.
