Back to School Prayer
The Prayer for Peace and Protection

Lord, as the kids step into this new school year, I ask that You place a strong hedge of protection around them.

Guard their mind against anxiety, comparison, depression and overwhelming thoughts.

Guard their heart against unkindness, loneliness, and doubt.

Guard their body against harm, keeping them safe in the classroom, on the playground, and on the journey there and back.

When the hallways feel too loud or the day feels too heavy, be their quiet, steady calm. Remind them to take a deep breath and feel Your comforting presence right beside them. Let them know that you are with them.

Watch over their coming and going. Guide their steps, protect their beautiful spirit, and bring them safely back home to me at the end of each day.
Amen.

You have covered them in love and placed them in the best possible hands for the day. Take a deep breath—they are going to be okay.
