One of the benefits of God's Word in our life (and there are millions but one of them is so wonderful to remember) is in Isaiah 55:11, He says HIs Word will not return unto Him void and will accomplish what He wants. That includes all the wonderful things He wants for our lives. Sometimes we get in a place where we think we need to find what His Word says so there is something we can do. It does go that way sometimes but one of most precious things is to realize the Scripture you're looking at is not something you are supposed to do but something you're supposed to believe. Sit back and watch Daddy God do His thing!

So many times as a kid I was told to remember what the Bible says; do what the Bible days and for me it was always something else I was supposed to do because I didn't measure up. I praise my God daily that I have learned when He says don't forget His Word He's talking about all the benefits for us. There is an answer for every situation in life in His Word because it connects with who we are as children of God and supplies us with the power of that Word so that we can use it in everyday life. Thank you Jesus!

This one is worth repeating and remembering: As we read the Word of God remember that many of the statements might appear to be qualifiers; that is, we must do something to attain it. But for most everything we read is the Word of God referring to us, because of what Jesus has already done in His complete and finished work, these things are really identifiers of who we already have been made.

A man told me he had paid someone up front to do a fence for him. He is usually very prompt to do these things but it seemed like now it was taking a lot longer to finish the job. This man is good man and a good businessman and I am sure he is going to finish and the Lord reminded me of this...He said when you get the reward up front, the job you were going to do goes from something you get to do to something you have to do. So in life when we look at all the things we think we need to do, must do, should do, everything else. We can remember that Romans 12:1-2 says the only thing that transform our world is to renew our minds. We just need to set our minds on the fact that we are extremely blessed and to keep reminding ourselves that in all these things we have to do and there is a reward with every one of them. He says, it is not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He delivered us...I hope this makes sense to you today. If it is a struggle in life with all your doing, then it is because you have to...Thank you Jesus for the get to's.

I know we hear that confession is good for the soul and it is often thought of as confessing something wrong. When we confess what's right and what the Lord has done for us it totally puts our soul (our will, mind, emotions) in an upward movement toward God.
