Our 2026 fall retreat ended yesterday! We hiked, roasted hot dogs & s’mores, acted in an improv mystery play, & enjoyed worship before coming down the mountain. All weekend we talked about how life throws ‘storms’ at us, but God is always with us, based on Isaiah 40:28-31.

We are thankful for a wonderful weekend!

We are having a great time on our Fall retreat at Mt. Eagle! Worship, small groups, fellowship & laughter has been our agenda. We are about to go hiking for our afternoon free time!

Thursday night was a great night listening to the Freshman Academy band at halftime!

What does the word “hero” mean to you? Can a person be a hero even if they don’t share the usual traits? Tomorrow night, we will solve the mystery of “The Unexpected Heroes”! Dinner is from 5:00-6:00; activities are from 6:00-7:00!

Wednesday Night activities included decorating cookies, learning about God’s love, how we can serve God in the church, and discovering our spiritual gifts!

We had a wonderful Wednesday night! Delicious supper, fun in the gorgeous weather, & fun in small group discussions! K-6th learned about Christmas, & 7-12 talked about how God’s creation is all around us!
