Moms, Many of you may awake feeling a little empty inside today. Getting accustomed to having them at home again , then not-carries many emotions. Please update us on how to pray for your Bear this semester. Feel free to post latest picture along with it. I’ve learned a face with a name is helpful. “We have to face endings to have new beginnings” still rings true. Lord, help us to be faithful in covering them in prayer. Go Bears 💜

Bear moms, Good morning!

How are your sons or daughters settling in? You? Likely most have had their first test by now. Pledging was also last week so it’s been a busy time. Now they are setting into a routine. How about we pray for them academically this week and next as essays are upcoming & progress reports come out end of Sept. Do any of you have any prayer requests that are specific?

Remember UCA Family weekend is coming up Sept 27 & 28. Go Bears! 🐻 💜🐻~sh

Moms, How are all of YOU? …Bittersweet sums it up for me. My husband & I are empty-nesters after raising 3 sons over a span of 33 years. House sure felt empty when we returned home.

Plz let us know how it went for your son or daughter & specially how we can pray for them this week. I’d love to see a picture so we can have a visual of who we’re praying for! Today is a big freshmen orientation day for them.

May the Lord go before them & hold your hearts in His tender care this week.

Hello UCA Praying Moms, Move-in day is close & if you’re like me you’ve been busy getting dorm necessities together. Remember some dorms (Hughes) won’t allow microwave’s but will microfridge’s & can rent these & have delivered before move-in day! Inbox me if you missed the email. Yesterday I made tags for all the trash bags w/ Quinn’s name, dorm name & room # so we will take advantage of pulling up allowing move-in crew to unload & deliver for us. Please feel free to leave any helpful hints you may have or ask questions on this platform.

We’re excited to have 4 more UCA Praying Moms to join us from surrounding towns in Arkansas whose son/daughter will also be a freshmen. This Sunday at 4 pm I ask we all go to a quiet place & have special prayer for every student listed below as they embark on this new journey, and for us moms as we have to let go and launch them:

Welcome UCA Praying Moms. 💜

The countdown begins ‘til move-in day. You are receiving this invite because your son or daughter will be a Freshmen @ UCA this fall. The purpose is to provide a platform where we can pray for our students (including specific), share praises, pictures, or just support one another from where you are. This is very similiar to “Panther Praying Moms”, however without Remind or GroupMe so the messaging will not be burdensome & you can check on your own time.

Thank you to those who helped me compile the list of future Bears. Please lift up every student by name over the next few weeks as they begin their educational journey. If you would like to opt out of this support group we will still comitt to praying for your son or daughter: 💜
