There’s something so special about seeing church through the eyes of our littlest members! From learning about Jesus to seeing their friends each week, we love that First Baptist is a place where they’re excited to belong, learn, and grow.

Idols haven’t disappeared—they’ve only changed names. Anything we place above God can become an idol in our lives.

What happens when humanity turns away from its Creator? Romans 1:18-22 pulls no punches. God's righteousness demands His wrath, and Paul makes clear that every person, in every generation, stands without excuse before God. The evidence of an all-powerful Creator is written into the very fabric of creation itself, from the complexity of DNA to the order of the universe.

But here is the reality: when we reject God as Creator and refuse Him the worship and gratitude He is due, the consequences are real. Our thinking becomes corrupt, our hearts grow dark, and we trade the glory of God for idols. The names of those idols may have changed, but make no mistake, they are alive and well today.

The good news is that while our hearts were still darkened and our thinking worthless, Christ died for us. That is the heart of the gospel. Join us as we continue this powerful journey through Romans.

What a beautiful night of worship, fellowship, and learning what it truly means to ABIDE.

Tonight, our women stepped away from the craziness of everyday life to be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded of the importance of staying connected to Christ.

“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4

A special thank you to Whitney Bullington for sharing her heart and reminding us that He is the source of everything we need.

We’re so thankful for every woman who joined us tonight. Our prayer is that we don’t simply leave encouraged, but that we carry this message with us into our homes, our families, our workplaces, and our everyday lives.

May we continue to ABIDE in Him.

Salvation is for everyone who believes -- without distinction, without exception. It does not matter where you come from, what you have done, or how unworthy you feel. The gospel was made for the unworthy.
