On August 23, our men's ministries from across the state will gather at the NLC Conway campus for a night of community, great food, worship, and teaching designed specifically for the men of our church! As we start the fall out strong, we want to encourage and give vision to the men leading our homes and communities. Invite the guys in your life and we’ll see you there!

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

There are so my verse’s in the Bible that tell us the way. Tell us how it’s going to be and tell us how it has already been. Ready this very closely and ask yourself, are we getting to the point that this is coming to truth. Ask your self are your kids acting like this, are you acting like this, is there someone that you know acting like this. For I believe we are in the last of days. I believe that Jesus is coming soon. I believe that we must know who Jesus is, was, and forever will be.

Prayer
Lord, please help us see you, please help us know the ones that are just like this. Please help us show the the path that they need to be on, and the path that we need to stay on. Lord give us the strength to wait patiently for your return, and while waiting, help us bring those that don't know you to you. In your name

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:6-9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There is not words for Jesus, when he speaks. There is truth to all this. Just these 3 verses speak of what is going on right now. But you must trust and keep your faith. Because we know where we are going. To see our Father. We can have wars, people can hate us, and I am ok with that because the only opinion that matters to me is that of Jesus Christ.

Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, thank you for giving us a heads up for what will take place. We don’t want to see wars or death, we don’t want to see people hate us for believing in you, but I can tell you we will not back from our faith. Lord you gave us gifts of love and understanding, we know that this is all taking place, because people are scared and greedy. Lord I ask that you show us how to help them understand that they don’t need to be that way. That there is another way and that way is through you. Lord I ask that you watch over and protect every person that reads this today, every person that loves you. I ask that you make us warriors for you and you help us with our armor. In your name I pray

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:29-30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all get tired from time to time. Weak, sluggish, grumpy. But God will give us strength when we need it. We will becomes stronger as our faith grows with God. Remember he is the most powerful, he will provide the energy that we need. If you fall it’s ok, we must remember God will help us back up and strengthen us even more. Your legs are strong your back is strong. Keep your faith and watch as you will move mountains.

Prayer
Lord thank you for giving me the heart of a lion and the back of a mule. I know I can do all things with you. I know that I will get tired along the way, but with you beside me I will get that renewed awaking. Lord please continue the good works you have started with me and allow me to continue on. I can not thank you enough for being in my heart and in my life. Please fill me with love and strength and honor.

Well all get angry or frustrated from time to time. Pay attention to your words. Stop and think before you say something. For in the end the fight may be over but the words stay forever

Lord I ask that you continue to teach me wisdom. I ask that you help me hold my tongue, and know when to speak and say what needs to be said. I ask that you guide me in the truth but hold back when needed. You are my rock lord, my sound barrier, you know what is truly going through my head. Please help me with keeping my words at bay.

Our God, that’s powerful. He is not just your God, or my God but our God. He will show us the way of life, help walk us through it as a tour guide. The only difference is that God will never leave us. It’s crazy if you think about it. He is there when we are born, and when we die. He never leaves. We leave our families to make new ones but He is still there. Never failing to show us who we are, where we need to go. We speak of faith to give him, and at times we loose our faith, but yet God never looses His. We can learn so much from, that if we just open our eyes and see He is the honorable one.

Prayer
Lord, I know I don’t say this as much as I should, so today I will say it any chance I get. Thank you Lord for loving me, watching over me, guiding me, and helping me grow. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for always loving me. There is so much I can learn from you, please continue to teach me and guide me. I love you Lord with all that I have.

As Christians we know that if we ask for something from our Father he will give us and provide for us. We all have ups and downs we all feel defeated at times. When we feel defeated we must ask for help. He will provide us the help that we need and ask for. Whether it’s someone that is a care giver or someone that we can love for the end of our days, or it’s just a friend with a giving heart. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or to ask God to provide. Not asking is always the issue. You can not do it alone.

Prayer
Lord I ask that you help me with not feeling defeated. To feel loved and to have a day full of energy and happiness. To know that you are always with me, and to provide me with the help that is needed. Lord I want you to know that you are an awesome Father and provider, you always know what is best for me in all my time. I love you Lord

Opinions are like butt holes we all have one. We don’t need to always give our opinion, most of the time we just need to listen and understand. We all have a problem listening to God, maybe we should listen more to each other than to have an opinion on what that someone should do or the way they should think. Remember advice is different than opinions.

Pray
Lord please help me listen and understand more. Please help me hold my tongue with my opinions and only speak those to you, and know when the time is right to speak my opinion or give advice. Lord I need your help to better myself, please continue to guide and teach me.

When Jesus died for all of us, we where granted freedom from slavery. We must show our freedom to one another and love with all that we have. Jesus is not the only one that has unconditional love, we all have that ability, we all can use a little bit of unconditional love. Be humble in in life, know that you are free.

Prayer
My Heavenly Father, help me remember that I am free and that you have given me the ability to love, the way you love, to honor the way that you honor be the faithfulness that you have done for me. With your help Lord I can walk in faith knowing that you are always beside me. In your name
