We are a Fun and Diverse church with a Heart for Mission! The United Church of Byron will provide a spiritual atmosphere where everyone is welcome to worship God and to experience Jesus Christ through ministry, fellowship and community outreach by offering opportunities for learning and involvement for all ages. WHEREAS, our members are people of faith who believe each of us in need of God’s love,
guidance and grace. THEREFORE, be it resolved that we are Open and Affirming (ONA) to all people who seek God’s blessing, regardless of ability, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or national origin. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, we commit ourselves to the continuing process of understanding God’s intentions for us as human beings, proclaiming and sharing God’s extravagant welcome in this place for all people.
