How cool is this giant map from our K-2nd grade class? Kids in our WayFinders Sunday School program have been coloring it each week as they follow along with our sermon series on Paul's Missionary Journeys!

The Banner Chili Cook-Off and Pie Auction featured our teens sporting shirts offering to do things in exchange for cash, like singing, drawing, and dancing ($304). There was fierce competition for pies with the highest pie selling at $235 made by Linda Jackson La Lone ! The teens did good bringing in a remarkable total of $2,547!!!!

The chili winners were:
Hot Stuff - Justin Sarah Nicole
Best Red - Brianna Smith
Best White - Caitlin Helen
People's Choice - Vince Impellizzeri

The teens will use this money to attend a mission trip put on by Experience Mission. Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts. 🙏❤️

A new sermon series means a new Family Field Guide: Unleashed! This series includes a one-of-a-kind CityQuest: a weekly outreach challenge designed to help us be on mission together as we follow along with Paul’s missionary journeys.

The Great Pumpkin Bonfire 🎃 It was a great night of family fun… worship around the campfire, pumpkin painting, pumpkin spice treats, and a classic outdoor movie! Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy this Banner Family event!!

Is anyone else still pulling out the stoplight prayer from week 1 of our Family Field Guide?? With all the hatred in our world today, a simple stoplight can make all the difference.

Every time you see a stoplight, first of all... stop! And while you are stopped, pray! Remember that God is slow to anger.

Whether it’s a personal offense or a news story, whatever is making you angry, pray this prayer:

Dear God,

Give me patience with xyz.
Help me be slow to anger.

Amen.

We've been enjoying monthly family meals at Banner! How about you? Shout out to our amazing Banner Youth Group! Last night, they cooked and served dinner for the whole church. We love to see people from every generation gathering around the table to share a meal.

Banner Youth Group kids are looking to furnish their youth room with new paint and furniture. They made a goal to try to collect $2,000! They're starting with a pop can drive tomorrow at church.
