Well we are wrapping up another awesome VBS at The Point of Refuge!
The hardest work you'll have the most fun doing all year! 😉😆
We chose the theme, Camp Chaos this year and explained how Jesus is the peace in the midst of any chaos we may have....and how we can always turn to Him! 🥰
Our daughter Mariah was my husbanda side kick in the skits and I was the crazy squirrel puppet. 🐿

Our Sunday school kids were given the challenge to memorize the books of the Bible. Every quarter we have a fun event for them. This time we decided to go to Kids Empire. The ones that memorized the books of the Bible got to ride in a party van! 😊 (service offered by a member of our church...Derick Pratt Professional Chauffeur). Those who did not, could meet us there . Oh and of course we ate lunch at McDs first! 😁
We had an awesome time and are so proud of all of them! Kudos to Mariah, Miles, Zuri, Grace, Savannah, Harmony, Zaydyn, Jada, Alia, Robert and Danny !

What a weekend so far! Last night we hosted a Christnas movie for our childrens dept, with games, pizza and snacks.
It started out a little chaotic 🤣 but they had a blast with one another and the crazy games they played! Everyone won multiple prizes. 😁
Big thanks go out to Sandra McQueen Hendrix for all the goodies she donated for the party!!!🥰 Not to mention the photo op she created for us! Thanks also to Karen Theissen and Lori Pratt for their donations as well! We have some wonderful parents and other members of the congregation that have been huge contributors in that help make our childrens ministry a success! LOVE you all and thank you again! 🥰

P.S. We missed the ones that couldn't make it! See you next time ! 🥰
