I see a lot of this right now.

People who call themselves Christians who sacrifice holiness to immorality and others who sacrifice compassion to self righteousness.

I know the world sees it.

There is no need to sacrifice anything but self. Daily.

Companies do not honor "unsubscribe."
People do not know or care if deleted from a friend list.

But, God knows if you decide to NOT PRAY!
I think He is sad about that!

Maybe it has been a while and a prayer may not make Him jump up and down but at least you are giving Him the opportunity to respond.

Jesus was not trying to GET to Heaven!

Jesus was SEEKING Him who is in Heaven!

Jesus would ascend to Heaven after His time here was done

Jesus taught His followers to SEEK His Father in Heaven while on Earth.

Which one is successful?

That depends on what needs to be done and what was done. Just read the book of Acts Chapter14.

Then, Look at Timothy in Ephesus.

Then, look at Ephesus in Revelation!

The answer to the first question is not that easy to make a judgment on.

Acts 14:5-7 is an EXCITING example of what it means to preach the truth and not be accepted.

In Acts 14:5, Paul and his companions chose to flee from the abuse and mental poisoning of others and preach in other places.

"A violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. And they were preaching the gospel there."

This is still a present reality my friends.

Acts 14:2 is an EXCITING outline for ministry.

Paul had to preach the gospel while others were stirring people up negatively and poisoning their minds against the brethren."

All Paul had to do to stop this was to change his doctrine.

HE DID NOT!

End-of-life care:

This is a short video that addresses life supposedly from a Catholic viewpoint. After listening, I think it should not be a "Catholic" viewpoint but something every person should consider.

This is very well done.

If you or your loved ones are or will be facing end-of-life issues soon, this is an excellent resource.

The most important end-of-life issue for me, even beyond this, is to be sure of my calling and election by God inn Christ.

Hypocritic oath:

"With regard to healing the sick, I will devise and order for them the best diet, according to my judgment and means; and I will take care that they suffer no hurt or damage. Nor shall any man’s entreaty prevail upon me to administer poison to anyone; neither will I counsel any man to do so. Moreover, I will give no sort of medicine to any pregnant woman, with a view to destroy the child. Further, I will comport myself and use my knowledge in a godly manner."

Not all doctors take the Hippocratic Oath. The oath is not legally binding and is not required by medical schools. Instead, medical schools may ask graduates to take a different oath, or no oath at all.

Does your doctor ascribe to it?

Ask him or her.

This is how I feel today.

I googled "Overwhelmed."

What I found were Bible verses for when you feel overwhelmed with this life.

It does not seem that many people are writing about being overwhelmed by God.

After reading God's Word in 22 days, I feel overwhelmed by the scope of what I read.

There is just too much mess in the world.

I wish I could rent a giant dumpster and have it hauled off.

Jesus is going to something like that.

Just make sure you are not something that is thrown in.

Revelation 20:11-15 "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
