“Black First Fact: Malcolm X was a fearless leader in the fight for Black liberation. As a minister and activist, he became the national spokesman for the Nation of Islam, advocating for Black self-sufficiency, empowerment, and self-defense against racial injustice. After breaking from the Nation of Islam in 1964, he founded the Organization of Afro-American Unity, promoting Pan-Africanism and global human rights. His evolving vision called for unity across racial lines, challenging oppression on a larger scale. Tragically, he was assassinated on February 21, 1965, in Harlem, but his legacy continues to inspire the fight for justice. ”
