Exodus 20:2-3
No other Gods before me- 
God both reminded and Told Israel, essential facts and principles about who He is and His nature

God is above nature- He is not merely the personification of fire, or the wind, or the sun or the sky, or any other created thing.

 God is personal- he is not a depersonalized force. He relates with, and communicates to men in an understandable way. God has a mind,a will,a voice.

God is good - he had done good for Israel, and now does good for them living in these commands, the keeping of which not only pleases him, but is genuinely best for humanity.

God is holy -he is different than the suppose gods of the pagans, and therefore he expects his people to be different .

Daily Devotion for February 11, 2021
Scripture:
Hebrews 12:25 “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.” (NASB)

Observation:
As a house burns, the fire eats all the oxygen. Thick, black smoke beings to bank down until there is total darkness. Firefighters must find the fire but can only see about 2 inches in front of their faces. With nothing to see but black and feeling around as you bump into this and that, you can get a turned around. If you stop moving, however, and take a moment, you can hear the crackling of the fire. It is only a whisper, and you need to listen lose or you’ll miss it. Today’s verse talks about refusing Him who speaks and warns from Heaven. Sometimes in our life things go black. We have lost the oxygen to keep going and are going in circles with no clear direction. It is then that we must stop, take a moment and listen. We need to listen for the whisper of His voice. Once we hear it, we need to follow it or run the risk of walking aimlessly in life. Are you listening for His whisper today?

Application:
Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.
Family Devotional: Read this chapter to your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them as you read. Talk about their answers and show them that one important aspect of this chapter is that we must continue to spend time with the Lord and keep our hearts focused on His plans and purposes. Pray for them.

Dear Mississippi Ministers,

We need your help! Would you help us get the word out that we have extended our deadline for Men's Retreat. Not only have we extend the deadline, but we've also built a special price for many of the guys who have contacted us, that were not able to attend until Friday afternoon.

We have built a special price for Friday night arrivals of $75. This includes Friday night all you can eat buffet, lodging, after service snacks and Saturday's all you can eat breakfast. Of course, let's not forget the most important, two services with worship and with Pastor Tom Moore, who will deliver a life word to your men. You and your men will not be disappointed.

Pastor, in addition, we have the special time built for you and Tommy on Saturday morning. This will be a time of Q&A and just powerful investment into your life and ministry.

Pastor, if you want the men of your church to go to a new spiritual level, you need to encourage them to make this retreat. We're believing the Holy Spirit to do a powerful work in their lives, that they will not only bring back to their families, but also their church. We are asking God to transform your church one man at a time. I firmly believe that if we want to God work in and through our church, it begins with placing men in an spiritual environment for that change to take place. That's what our soul passion and objective has been as we constructed this time of encountering God.
