We are committed to sincere believers who are either seeking to establish a relationship with God through Jesus Christ or believers who desire a more mature relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are a church by Biblical default and definition. Our ethos, or the characteristic spirit of our congregation’s culture is framed by Ephesians 4:11-16:
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to t
he church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. ARC is a Bible centered church. Simply put, ARC is solely focused on your Spiritual growth. Therefore, as mandated in Ephesians, every aspect of ARC is designed, geared and driven to equip every man, woman, boy and girl for “the building up of the church, the body of Christ”. Every Bible centered ministry at ARC, whether it is worship, evangelism, teaching, preaching, cultural arts, community service, professional development, counseling, fellowship, outreach and many others, is aimed at helping everyone involved to actively grow in Christ, be encouraged and assisted by others with the same focus and desire. We believe teaching develops our root system and ministry extends our branches. With this in mind, our dedicated ministries from Tot’s Temple, the Men’s Ministry, Couples Ministry, Youth Summit, tutoring, music, karate, arts and crafts and recreation, all have a teaching component mixed with ministry, for personal Spiritual growth and to extend the branches of evangelism and salvation in Christ Jesus to the community we serve.
