⏰ WAKE UP!

The church at Sardis had a great reputation. From the outside, they looked alive. But Jesus saw what others couldn’t see, and His diagnosis was sobering: “You have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.”

It’s possible to look spiritually healthy while slowly falling asleep on the inside.

What a church teaches never remains only in the pulpit or classroom. Teaching shapes beliefs, beliefs guide choices, and choices eventually form the character of a congregation.

Jesus commended the church at Thyatira for its love and good works, but He confronted them for tolerating teaching that led His people into sin.

May we test every message by God’s Word, speak the truth in love, and faithfully pass biblical truth to the next generation.

Compromise often presents itself as the easiest way to survive, fit in, or avoid conflict. But Jesus defines victory differently.

We do not conquer by blending in. We conquer by holding fast to Christ and remaining obedient when compromise would be easier.
