Thank you to for sharing the love of Jesus and a wonderful meal with our community tonight. Thank you so much to the and their KITCHEN ON WHEELS TEAM. It was such a beautiful evening to get to spend time with neighbors and friends.

The Oaks Church has an upcoming Kids Camp June 26-28th 5:30-7:30pm at The Byhalia Walking Trail. See below for more information.

At Hearts & Hands Food Pantry, we’re grateful for every donation, every volunteer, and every neighbor who helps us keep families fed.

To make your week a little easier, here’s a simple, comforting recipe using ingredients often found in our pantry boxes — perfect for busy nights or feeding a crowd.

🍲 Easy One‑Pot Pantry Pasta

Ingredients:

• 1 box pasta
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• 1 can tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp oil or butter
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Salt & pepper to taste
• Optional: canned veggies, shredded cheese, or cooked meat

Directions:

1. Add pasta, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and 2 cups water to a pot.
2. Stir in oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
4. Add any veggies or protein you have on hand.
5. Top with cheese if you’d like.

A warm, filling meal — made from simple ingredients that stretch far.
