PROCESS: At Calvary we want to help each person be a better disciple. A Disciples is one who "Knows, Grows, & Goes!". PROCLAMATION: The good news of the Bible is the news of how the just and gracious God of the universe, looked upon hopelessly sinful people and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, to bear His wrath against our sin on the cross and to show His power over sin in the resurrection so that all who repent and have faith in Him will be reconciled to God forever. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). We often share the gospel with the following 5 points...
• GOD is the just and gracious Creator of all things. (Rev 4:11)
• MANKIND is created by God, but corrupted by sin. (Rom 3:10-12, 23)
• JESUS Christ is God in the flesh. He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins and reconcile us to God. He alone is able to rescue a lost and rebellious mankind. (1Pet 3:18)
• FAITH in Jesus is the only way people are reconciled to God. There is nothing we can do to become right with God. Faith that leads to salvation involves turning from sin and self-sufficiency. (Jn 3:36)
• ETERNITY depends on the response of every person to Jesus. (Heb 9:27-28)

Next week, our church will celebrate 80 WHOLE YEARS of being in existence! Wow...PRAISE THE LORD for his goodness & faithfulness to us as a church and for generations before us who have also helped make this happen. We have been through many highs & even more lows in our 80 years but since the very beginning we have been committed to bringing glory to God through lives CHANGED by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have grown, we have changed, we have evolved, but one thing remains the same is God's Word has been the foundation of everything we do here.

This video we are interviewing someone so special to us & one of our founding charter members back in 1946, Yvonne Rogers. Please take a listen as she shares a little bit of our history and even some of her wishes for us as we, Lord willing, continue on as a church family for years to come. Thank you Yvonne for doing this with us and for your many years of faithfulness! 🙂

We had our annual CBC carnival ONE WEEK AGO TODAY! 🙌🏼🎡🎟️

We are so thankful for all who came despite the rain!
We also just want to shout out a few people:

•Hill’s Kitchen for your amazing food and friendliness 🍔🌭
•Byesville Police Officer Andrew Wesley for always coming and loving on our kids! 🚔
•Our amazing community for supporting us year after year 🫂
•Our CBC family for volunteering their time to help out!
•Last but not least, our amazing Children’s Director Keirstin Gebhart for working tirelessly to make this event start & run, couldn’t do it without you! 🙌🏼

We’ll see you all next year! Don’t let our final goodbye be at the carnival, we have plenty of room for you & your whole family every single Sunday at 10:30am, we would be overjoyed to have you if you’ve been looking for a church home 😊

Have you ever wondered what Joni & Friends is like? Why we love it so much or maybe even how to become a part of it??

TOMORROW night, 6pm, our group that went to this amazing ministry this year will be giving a report of our time there, what we learned & how we saw God work in the lives of families affected by disability. Church, if you don’t usually come on Wednesday nights, we HIGHLY encourage you to be there and this is a great opportunity to not miss out! 🙌🏼 see you tomorrow!!
