Calvary Baptist Church Our mission is to bring glory to God through lives changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcome here! Know Christ, Grow in Christ, & Go for Christ.

Sundays | 10:30am
Wednesdays | 6pm

KNOW || GROW || GO! PILLARS: At Calvary we believe these 5 pillars to be the foundational essentials of the kind of church that God will bless (Act 2:40-47).
• Proclaiming God’s Word Faithfully (2 Tim 4:2)
• Worshiping Jesus Passionately (Jn 4:24)
• Praying Persistently (Eph 6:18)
• Loving One Another Sacrificially (Jn 13:35)
• Sharing the Gospel Boldly (Eph 6:19-20)

PROCESS: At Calvary we want to help each person be a better disciple. A Disciples is one who "Knows, Grows, & Goes!". PROCLAMATION: The good news of the Bible is the news of how the just and gracious God of the universe, looked upon hopelessly sinful people and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, to bear His wrath against our sin on the cross and to show His power over sin in the resurrection so that all who repent and have faith in Him will be reconciled to God forever. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). We often share the gospel with the following 5 points...
• GOD is the just and gracious Creator of all things. (Rev 4:11)
• MANKIND is created by God, but corrupted by sin. (Rom 3:10-12, 23)
• JESUS Christ is God in the flesh. He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins and reconcile us to God. He alone is able to rescue a lost and rebellious mankind. (1Pet 3:18)
• FAITH in Jesus is the only way people are reconciled to God. There is nothing we can do to become right with God. Faith that leads to salvation involves turning from sin and self-sufficiency. (Jn 3:36)
• ETERNITY depends on the response of every person to Jesus. (Heb 9:27-28)

Yesterday a few of our ladies got back from Scioto Hills Ladies Rejuvenate Retreat weekend and wow, what a blessing! 🍁🤎

We’re thankful for Kristi Stephens, our speaker, who really poured into us this weekend and the entire Scioto Hills Christian Camp staff for doing SO much work behind the scenes to make this such a great weekend for us ladies. We’re grateful for the opportunity to grow in Christ alongside each other. Can’t wait for next year! ☺️
