In Daniel 6, we see a man whose consistency with God did not change—even when the consequences did.
Daniel did not begin praying when the trial came. He was already faithful before the decree was signed, and he remained faithful after. His enemies knew exactly where to find him—on his knees before God.
Too often, we treat faithfulness as something we turn on in hard times. But Daniel reminds us that real devotion is steady, daily, and rooted long before the lions’ den ever appears.
When the pressure comes, we don’t rise to the occasion—we fall back on our habits.
So the question is simple: What are we doing today that prepares us to stand tomorrow?
