“Thank you sisters”!! for praying for me yesterday. There was no clot in my heart and the cardiologist was able to complete the heart procedure. I’m still in the hospital and expect to be released today! Have a great weekend!! -Jeanna

Women’s Retreat Need:

We need Jolly Ranchers hard candy for our mission project! The candy will be used for the Red Box Women’s Prison Ministry.

Costco has a 370 piece bag for about $15 which is best price I’ve found.

You can donate any size, but has to be the hard cylinder shape candy.

The deadline to deliver the candy to the church is Sunday, September 21st.

Woman caring for their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, according to God’s Word.

Focus Passage: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

DATE: Saturday, September 27
TIME: 8:00 – 1:00
LOCATION: Family Life Center, First Baptist Church, 200 West D St

We will enjoy light snacks following registration, worship music, studying God’s Word in breakout sessions, a mission project, the Lord’s Supper, fellowshipping with one another, door prizes, and welcome bags!

Registration is open and you can register by:
(1) Visiting the church website at fbcofbutner.org
(2) Using the Ministries dropdown, select Heart Sisters
(3) Near the bottom of the page, you will be able to register for the retreat.

Send an email with your name, church, women’s ministry leader, and forward to Tammy Duke at [email protected]. If you are registering your church group, PLEASE include name, email address or mailing address for each participant.
