Your word says that you set up kings and you depose them. We declare your word and pray that you will set up leaders and depose them according to Your plan and purpose for this nation. Give us wisdom and discernment as we go to the polls on Tuesday. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Only about half of Americans claiming to be evangelical Christians are registered to vote, and many who are registered don’t bother to do so. Most statistics make it clear that evangelicals could turn any national election in America if we all voted, and did so based on biblical values rather than party lines or personality preferences. Tomorrow, I will introduce you to a simple plan that helps us reverse this.

Today marks Purim. On this day that celebrates deliverance and the exposure of Haman’s evil plans for the destruction of the Jewish people, let’s join in prayer for truth to be brought forth that exposes the enemy’s plans for the destruction of our nation, for those plans to be overthrown, for lives to be saved from destruction, including the lives of babies by abortion, as well as innocent Ukranians, and Russians. For evil plans to be exposed and thrown down. For evil powers, principalities, rulers and authorities to be dislodged from their places of authority. For unrighteous kings and rulers and people in high places to be deposed and righteous rulers set up.

I was recently praying for a friend’s boss, who was having surgery on a brain tumor, and I asked God what verse I should pray for him. This verse popped into my head: This sickness will not end in death but will be for the glory of God that the Son of God may be glorified through it. John 11:4
So I prayed that way for him, that this would not end in death, but that God would be glorified.
Then, in an interesting series of events, my big, black horse was diagnosed with botulism. Botulism can be deadly and I was worried, so I prayed the same verse for him. You may be thinking that he’s just a horse and God has better things to do than heal a horse. But God brought that horse to me and He cares about what I care about.
Long story short, my friend’s boss did well in his surgery. And is already out of icu.
And Sampson is recovering from botulism under the care of a very special angel, Lisa Hiles. And I am so grateful and want to be sure that God gets the glory and that the Son of God is glorified, as the verse said. To Him be all the glory.
