From the Pastor's Desk -

I will be away next week on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. As a result, we won't have a weekly email.  In the meantime, please be praying for me as I travel with Samuel to Chicago, and pray for him as he starts his college career.

Service is more than just showing up to committee meetings; it means using your gifts and talents to make the world and the church better.
For example, Claira served the church by helping to decorate the pastor's office.

In Romans 12:1, we see that Jesus wants our whole being. It is the only reasonable gift we can give. This has huge impacts on how we live our life, go to work and school, it is a significant gift and not one to be taken lightly.
