Dear TCC Families,
We are writing to share an important update with you in the spirit of transparency, care, and our deep commitment to the safety of every child and family connected to Taylor County Holiness Camp.
We were made aware that Kade Garrett Randall, who served as a volunteer in our Kids Camp tract for approximately ten years, was arrested in Washington State as part of an undercover law enforcement operation involving the solicitation of a minor. This incident did not occur at Taylor County Camp and is not connected to any camp activity.
Based on all information currently available:
- Kade passed a criminal background check every year he volunteered at TCC.
- He completed the required annual training and signed all child-safety policies and procedures each year.
- He had a clean criminal history during his time serving at camp.
There have been zero reports or complaints from any child, parent, or adult regarding his conduct at Taylor County Camp.
Law enforcement has given no indication of any connection between this situation and Taylor County Camp or any of its campers.
Even so, we believe that transparency and communication with our camp families is both appropriate and necessary.
Taylor County Holiness Camp has always held the safety and care of children and adults as a sacred responsibility. For decades, we have maintained proactive safeguards, including:
- Annual background checks for all volunteers
- Required safety policies and signed conduct agreements
- Structured supervision and accountability procedures
- Clear reporting pathways for any concern
We remain fully committed to maintaining a safe and Christ-centered environment for every camper and family we serve.
There is no evidence suggesting any camper connected to TCC has been harmed or placed at risk. However, if your child has ever shared anything with you that caused concern — past or present — we encourage you to contact us directly so that we can listen and respond appropriately.
If you have questions or would like to speak with camp leadership, you may contact or local law enforcement:
