What an unforgettable evening for 25 lovely ladies!

Even though we couldn't physically sit outside around a bonfire tonight, our imaginations carried us right to the fire. We gathered together, wrapped our hands around warm mugs (in our minds!), and gave ourselves permission to just exhale.

Erica and Sarah both did an absolute beautiful job sharing their hearts with us. Erica walked us through how God moved miraculously when life hung in the balance, and Sarah reminded us of how His faithful, daily presence is with us in the middle of a long and difficult valley. Their journeys look different, but the God who met them in the flame is the exact same God who met us right where we were tonight.

In a moment of surrender, each of us  released our burdens to the fire. We then returned to our chairs to hold onto our praises, we were reminded that God didn't empty our hands to leave them empty; He wants to fill them with His faithfulness.

Thank you to Karen and Greg for leading us in worship, and to every single woman who showed up with an open heart. No matter what fire you may be walking through, you are deeply held, fiercely loved, and anchored in unshakable hope. 💛🔥

There is nothing quite like the joy of rolling up your sleeves and making a difference together. Our time of service at Matthew 25 today was filled with incredible energy, shared purpose, and plenty of smiles as this wonderful group came together.

A massive shout-out and thank you to Kim Kroger for getting these lovely ladies moving and grooving. Looking for a perfect summer afternoon but not really a "get in the pool" person? Don't worry—we've got you covered (literally!).

Join us for a casual afternoon of outside socializing at the home of Rick and Debby Baker on Sunday, August 9th from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.

Debby’s patio has loads of fantastic sun cover and shade, making it the perfect oasis for those who want to pull up a chair, sit back, and visit the entire afternoon without baking in the sun. Oh, what a SHELL-EBRATION!

Friday night, 28 beautiful ladies gathered for an unforgettable evening of laughter, rolling dice, and wonderful fellowship at our Shell-ebration Bunco night! 🎲The energy was high, the competition was friendly, and the company was unmatched.
But the true highlight of our evening went deeper than the game. We paused to share a beautiful devotion that perfectly captured the spirit of our community:

Coming Out of Your Shell

Scripture: “Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.” … Exodus 15:20
When we think of the beach, we think of shells. A shell is a beautiful thing, but it’s designed for one purpose: to protect the life inside. But if the shell never opens, the life inside remains hidden, small, and contained.
In the Bible, we meet Miriam standing on the shores of the Red Sea. She had watched God do the impossible. But notice what she did next: she didn't stay on the sidelines. She grabbed her timbrel and led the other women in song and dance. Miriam didn't just watch the miracle; she celebrated it. She came "out of her shell" to lead, to worship, and to invite others into the joy of what God had done.

As women of the Cornerstone community, we are often like shells—we have our protective layers and our comfort zones. But tonight, we’re reminded that we aren’t meant to stay closed up. We are meant to be original, to lead with joy, and to make waves in the lives of those around us.
Just like Miriam, when we step out of our comfort zones and share our lives with one another, we turn a simple gathering into a true celebration!

Thank you to every single woman who came out, brought their joy, and shared their heart. Always remember: you are an absolute treasure, and your "original" self is a gift to this group.

Girlfriends! If you’re looking for a place where you can dive deep into God’s word, laugh until your stomach hurts, and find a circle of friends that truly does life together, you’ve just found your place!
