Sometimes being a good neighbor is as simple as opening your doors.

Today we were happy to welcome our local seniors and host their Friday lunch here at the church. With today’s poor air quality requiring a change of plans throughout the Township, we were grateful to be able to provide a comfortable indoor space for everyone to gather, share a meal, and enjoy fellowship.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with our township and serve our community in small but meaningful ways.

🚧 Sidewalk Repairs Begin July 6 🚧

Beginning Monday, July 6, our church will be undergoing sidewalk repairs, with work expected to last 3–4 days.

During this time, the church office will be closed and operating remotely. If you need to visit the building, please use caution and be mindful of the work taking place around the property.

Need assistance? Call the church office and leave a voicemail—we’ll return your call as soon as possible. For urgent pastoral needs, please contact Pastor James or Pastor Dena directly.

This Sunday you’ll notice a one-time change in our order of service. For many of you who grew up in the church (broadly speaking!) you might recognize it—it’s a more “traditional” order of worship seen in many congregations of various traditions. It’s meant to give the worship staff and Committee a chance to see something just a little bit different for a day. Don’t worry, regularly scheduled programming will return.

Also this week, we’re pleased to welcome Kristen Woodard from First Presbyterian Church in Maumee, Ohio. Kristen is filling in for Mindy while she’s out for this week. Be sure to say hello, introduce yourself, and have a conversation with Kristen. (Kristen knows Pastor James from Music Camp at Camp Lambec; oddly enough, Kristen’s Head of Staff, Pastor Clint Tolbert, is in Pastor James’ doctoral cohort.)

Join us for a special Good Friday experience on April 3 from 6:00–8:00 PM. We’ll begin with a catered dinner at 6:00, followed by an interactive, hands-on worship journey as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

This intergenerational service is designed for all ages—children, youth, and adults alike—as we explore the story of the cross in meaningful, creative ways and grow together in faith and community.
