At Precious Beginnings Preschool we have qualified teachers and assistants in the required ratios with students. Teachers are degreed in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education. Staff members have training in Child and Infant CPR, first aid, and emergency procedures. We also exceed the amount of hours of professional development required by Pennsylvania per school year. The curriculum itself is guided by a curricular map which is reviewed periodically and includes benchmarks, student objectives, and instruction strategies. This tool is used as the foundation for engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities, assuring alignment with the PA Early Learning Standards for Kindergarten readiness.
