We are eagerly anticipating our upcoming Missions Conference Sunday, September 13 through Tuesday, September 15. It is always a highlight each year.

Please note a couple changes this year. The International Dinner will be held on Sunday evening at 5:00 pm. Monday and Tuesday's services will begin at 6:30 pm, and the Ice Cream Social will follow the Tuesday evening service. All are welcome to join us!

It's always a blessing to have a missionary family we support stop by with an update. We thoroughly enjoyed having the Murdock family, missionaries to Trier, Germany, with us this past Sunday. Bro. Murdock preached the Sunday evening message. He spoke of man's greatest need not being a health or a financial need, but the greatest need mankind has is because of sin. The only answer to that need is the Gospel of Christ! He challenged us by asking -- are we willing to present ourself to God to be used to further the Gospel? Romans 12:1

Please pray for this family as they drop their daughter off at college this week and continue to pray for them throughout the year.

There's still time to plan to join us this coming Sunday, August 23rd, for our Friends and Family Sunday. Every year we look forward to this special day with lunch under the tent after the morning service and the always uplifting afternoon music service. We hope you will join us!

Every Sunday night our young people take up the Baby Church Fund offering. To date, we have collected over $15,000. Please pray with us for this new work and for Pastor Jordan and Risha McDowell as they are currently on deputation with plans to start New Life Baptist Church in Robinson Township in 2027.

The Anthony Frazer family was with us all day Sunday. What an encouragement it was to see a young family with such an infectious attitude and a real zeal to start a new work in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Please pray with us that they can quickly raise their financial support and start the first Baptist church in Bridgeport.

We are happy to announce the second annual free Community 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on August 8th at 9 AM at Lifeway Baptist Church. A rain date has been scheduled for Saturday, August 15th. The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 8-16 years old. Please register at the link provided and note a change this year -- every individual needs to register.

The Sunday evening service was an uplifting but solemn service filled with music and prayer. Our choir sang "Heal Our Land", and the girls' group sang "In God We Still Trust". Pastor and our deacons prayed over our nation and our government leaders. We spent time in prayer as individuals and as families. The congregation joined in singing songs about America. Four generations of men prayed for our families, for our future, and for revival. They also gave thanks for many years of blessings from the Lord.
