Thank you to everyone who braved the rain for our Church Work Day! Our amazing volunteers cleaned up the garden beds, planted new bushes and trees, ripped out some of the lattice, and began trimming overgrown shrubs (which will continue after our resident baby robins fly their nests). Meanwhile, our rector spent some time moving out of his office to make room for our growing youth group and kids Sunday School to meet simultaneously on Sunday mornings.

Come check it out soon! We're here every Sunday at 10:30am for worship, or come at 9:30am for Rector's Forum, Youth Group, and Kids' Sunday School.

Thank you for joining us for a beautiful Palm Sunday service! We look forward to celebrating Maundy Thursday with you this evening at 7pm.

"Maundy Thursday receives its name from the mandatum (commandment) given by our Lord: 'A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.' At the Last Supper, Jesus washed his disciples' feet and commanded them to love and serve one another as he had done. This day commemorates the Lord's example of servant ministry, the institution of the Eucharist, the agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal leading to the crucifixion." (BCP Liturgy for Maundy Thursday)

See our previous post for our entire Holy Week schedule.

Thanks, Kirk and Kim for the additional photos!

We don’t mess around! Can we get a huge round of applause for our men’s ministry, led by Kirk, Matt, Gregg, and Maywood, which served us all delicious pancakes from scratch and two flavors of sausages last night? Thanks for a fun and memorable Shrove Tuesday, team!

Next up, we’ll see you tonight at 7 to atone for our gluttony at our Ash Wednesday service. Let us know you're coming, or share with friends, at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1568872123639207

Have you RSVPed to our Ladies' Ornament Exchange Party tomorrow? If not, comment below and we'll send you the invite. If yes, let us know what you're most looking forward to!

Each month, a different member of our women's fellowship group hosts a home gathering or outing so we can get to know one another better outside of Sunday worship. All women are welcome, even if you're brand new! This photo is from our October brunch at Spring and Main Cafe in Zelienople.
