We kicked off the summer weather last week & had the joy of giving away free lemon icees as a simple way to bless our neighborhood and connect with our community🍋☀️

At Joy Way, we are a people committed to loving our home and our neighbors as ourselves. Every conversation, smile, and icee shared was an opportunity to be present, build relationships, and reflect the love of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and spent part of your Sunday afternoon with us. We love Ridgewood & Bushwick, and we’re grateful to serve this community.

⏰SERMON IN A MINUTE: What was actually happening at the cross?

The crowd saw a criminal.
The religious leaders saw justice.
The Romans saw another ex*****on.

But Scripture shows us something far bigger.
Jesus wasn’t dying for His sins, He had none.
He was dying for ours.

“He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities…” (Isaiah 53:5)

The cross is where God’s justice and God’s love meet. The perfect human offered the perfect life as our substitute so that we could be forgiven, made righteous, and brought near to God.

When you look at the cross, what do you see?
