Saint Faustina’s First Class Relics Visiting St. Lawrence Church.
Just a couple of days ago I arrived to Florida with and under protection of First Class Relics of Saint Faustiana. (I am so honored and privileged)
I am so happy that Dioceses of Orlando will be in possession of The Reliccs of Saint Faustina. The Divine Mercy Parish in Merit Island is Her home now but before She arrives there, our St. Lawrence Church have a opportunity to welcome Her and through Her unique presence and saintly intercessions we shouldn’t hesitated to venerate, to pray and to deepen our knowledge and faith in Divine Mercy.
P.S. I would like to thank all people, my family and friends who made a lot of effort to make St. Faustina’s Relics arrive to United States all the way from Krakow - Poland, through Stockholm, Sweden. Every home and family that Saint Faustina’s Relics visited on her way here, waiting for Her next „transfer” was a blessing for everyone. Thank you to Father John for requesting the Relics from the Congregation of the Sisters od Our Lady of Mercy and entrusting me with arranging it transfer to USA. Thank you very much to my friends, Grzegorz and Agnieszka for picking up the Relics from the convent, Mariusz, for beautiful Icon of Divine Mercy and Beata and my nephew Krystian to bringing The Relics to Sztokholm, Sweden - from there I was able to bring it to the Dioceses of Orlando.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE RELICS
First-class relics are the physical remains of a saint, such as bones, hair, skull, or limbs, or items directly associated with the life of Christ (e.g., the True Cross). These, along with blood, are considered the highest form of relic and are often housed in elaborate, sealed cases called reliquaries for veneration.
Veneration vs. Worship: Catholics venerate (honor) these items to ask for the saint's intercession; they do not worship them.
The Relics of Saint Faustina are displayed in our Divine Mercy Niche.
