Our Sunday School kids did a great job this morning at worship talking about the Souper Bowl of Caring coming up next Sunday, February 8th. Let's all do our best to help our neighbors in need by donating cans of soup and warm socks! Growing In Faith Together

St. Paul Rehburg has decided to cancel Sunday School, Worship and our Annual Congregation meeting for this Sunday due to the weather forecast. We have videoed a brief service and sermon for you to watch instead.
The Annual Congregation meeting as well as the turkey stew has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 15.
We hope everyone can stay off the roads this weekend and stay safe and warm at home!

I am sharing this post from Greenvine since it is what we at Rehburg are also doing and they had some good info about the weather!
The Men In Mission/WELCA Turkey Stew has already been cancelled, and the Church Council will revisit the weather situation on Thursday and make decisions about Worship and the Annual Congregation meeting. Watch for info later in the day on Thursday!

Our church council is closely monitoring a possible arctic front with our state and local weather partners that may affect our area this weekend.

Over the last 24-hrs global models show a strong arctic front will cross the state late Friday into early Saturday. Timing is still in question and may move up some as this will be a cold shallow dense arctic air mass…and they tend to arrive earlier than indicated. It is likely we won’t have a better idea on timing for a couple of days.

Travel across a large portion of Texas could become difficult as early as late Friday evening and potentially into much of next weekend.

The safety of our members and guests is of the upmost importance. Please follow our page; Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church and/or BAND app for changes or cancelations.
