In the middle of storms, snow, darkness, and danger, there are people who don’t get the option to stay warm and safe indoors.
They gear up, climb higher, and face the elements head-on — not for recognition, but because others are counting on them.

To all the linemen out there, thank you.
Thank you for answering the call when power goes out and life feels suddenly disrupted. Thank you for working long hours, often unseen, to restore what most of us take for granted.

Your job isn’t easy.
It’s cold hands gripping steel, tired bodies working through the night, and constant risk with every climb. Yet you do it anyway — with skill, courage, and commitment.

When the lights come back on, families feel relief.
Homes feel warmer. Hospitals function. Communities breathe again. And behind that moment of comfort is your hard work and sacrifice.

You keep the world connected.
Not just through power lines, but through dedication, teamwork, and an unspoken promise to show up when it matters most.

So today, we pause to recognize you.
For your strength in harsh conditions, your resilience in dangerous situations, and your willingness to serve even when no one is watching.
