Yesterday, this amazing team served nearly 100 people in need at Cleveland Victory Church of The Nazarene in downtown Cleveland, providing Meals and demonstrating God's love to the community, including the homeless, mothers with young children, and teenagers.

We are grateful for this opportunity and invite our church to serve when there is a fifth Thursday in a month. If you missed this chance to service, look out for the next one and explore other service opportunities in the meantime!

What does it really mean to be blessed?

Most of us naturally think of blessings as good health, answered prayers, financial provision, or when life is going our way. But Jesus introduces a very different perspective in the opening words of the Sermon on the Mount:

*"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."* — Matthew 5:3

Being "poor in spirit" isn't about weakness. It's about humility, recognizing our deep need for God and our complete dependence on Christ.

This week, consider praying a simple prayer:

**"God, help me learn what it means to be poor in spirit. Show me how much I need You...not only for salvation, but for wisdom, strength, peace, and guidance each day."**

Sometimes the greatest blessing isn't that our circumstances change. It's discovering that Christ is enough in every circumstance.
