Before Hollywood, there was Burrton.

Before the world knew him as Doc Adams, Milburn Stone had Burrton roots.

That is part of what makes small towns special.

They hold stories bigger than people expect.

On June 14th, we’ll gather to celebrate 150 years of faith, family, community, and the story of Burrton.

Join us for Men’s Bible Study at 6:00 AM at FCC Burrton.

It is a simple hour, but it matters.

In the middle of the Depression, Burrton changed.

When oil came in 1932, this little wheat town had to make room fast.

People cleaned out spare rooms.

Chicken houses became apartments.

Garages were rented out.

And more than 1,000 new people became part of the Burrton community.

It was not just an oil boom.

It was a chapter of grit, generosity, and small-town resilience.

What a story to remember.

June 1–4, we’ll be welcoming kids for a fun week filled with truth, joy, laughter, and the love of Jesus.

If you are looking for a place where your kids can have fun, make memories, and hear the greatest story ever told, we’d love to have them with us.

Imagine Burrton in 1876.

A young town.

A wide-open prairie.

Families planting roots.

A community still taking shape.

In the years that followed, Burrton became a place where people gathered, celebrated, and built a life together.

By 1885, the town had an opera house, a place for plays, graduations, school programs, and community events.

By 1910, this small town was growing and full of life.

As we prepare to celebrate 150 years, we are thankful for the generations who built more than buildings here.

They built places where people could gather, worship, celebrate, and belong.
And through it all, God has been faithful.
