Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is costly and should never be taken for granted.

As we gather with family and friends, may we pause to give thanks, pray for Gold Star families, and remember those who laid down their lives for others.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13, ESV)

From Eden to the tabernacle, from the temple to Christ, from the cross to Pentecost, the story has always been the same:

God wants to dwell with His people.

And His presence was never supposed to be a side theme. It’s the whole point.

We were made to be near Him.
We were made to walk with Him.
We were made to know Him.

And because of Jesus, that nearness has been opened to us again through the indwelling of Holy Spirit.

Thank good for Pentecost ❤️‍🔥🕊️

Many people think of the Holy Spirit as a feeling, a moment, an atmosphere, or a force.

But Scripture reveals Him as a Person.

He is present with us.
He speaks.
He leads.
He comforts.
He convicts.
He empowers.
He makes Jesus known.
He draws us deeper into the life of God.

The Holy Spirit is not someone we acknowledge from a distance. He is the very presence of God dwelling within His people.

And as we approach Pentecost, we are reminded again: we were never meant to follow Jesus in our own strength. We have been given the Spirit of the living God.

Tomorrow we continue our series leading up to Pentecost called The Outpouring. We are expectant for fresh faith, fresh hunger, and a fresh move of the Holy Spirit in our midst.

Jesus is alive, the Spirit is still being poured out, and God is still transforming lives today.

Come hungry.
Come ready.
Come expectant. 🔥🕊️

Christian Essentials is designed for anyone who wants to grow in understanding the core beliefs and practices of the Christian life.

This class is especially helpful for those who are new to faith, returning to church, or just wanting to strengthen their understanding and build a stronger foundation of what it means to follow Jesus.

Pastor Zach will be teaching this class and it will be held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month @ 6:30pm.
