We come this morning to renew our our minds together in the presence of the God of grace. We come seeking the One who gives us life and brings us truth.
Together we will call on His name and know that He will listen. In Him, we will find love and mercy. In Him, blessings are greater than we can imagine.

Come, let us worship our mighty Creator!

If you are angry, fearful, or outraged in your daily mind, that is the energy you will bring to God, to your neighbor, and to your world. But GOD says, "Whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy..." - THESE are the things that need to fill our minds daily. THESE are the things that will bring peace to our hearts and to our world.

Let's sit together in worship at 10:00 am tomorrow (September 6th) as we focus our attention on the One who gives us life and brings us true peace!

Are you interested in learning about resilient joy – the kind of joy that can coexist alongside sadness, pain, grief, and ordinary disappointment? Then make plans now to join the upcoming study of Kate Bowler’s book Joyful Anyway. In this book, Bowler helps the reader understand that joy is not the same as happiness. From her own life experiences, the author shares how happiness comes and goes with good circumstances, but joy is a steady feeling that life is still worth loving, even when you face hard times. The study will be held in the Fellowship Hall from 5:00 – 6:30 each Sunday starting September 13th. Contact the church office to sign up for the study. Books can be purchased on Amazon.

We gather this morning from many places - from a week that may have made our heads spin.
We may come in the door with distractions or heavy hearts.
But we come, longing to feel something that resonates with our hearts. We come, longing to find contentment. We come, longing to find God.
