Very Special Prayer Request

I found out earlier this morning that a very dear friend passed away very unexpectedly. If you would please remember the family and friends of Stewart Hunnicutt. It's not been maybe a year he called and ask if I would go to Asheville with him as his wife was passing away. She was in a coma, but he spoke to her with so much love and you could hear the heartbreak in his voice. He took the time to introduce me to her which broke my heart. As he said "Honey look Preacher Ronnie came to see you and have prayer with you", we stayed for probably 2½ hours and as we was leaving the facility we had to pass by their Chapel he grabbed me and we fell at the altar for prayer, we went on and got supper about 11pm, came back to my house where he spent the night. The next morning we found out she had passed earlier that morning. Just last weekend he was trying to come have a meal with my wife and I and visit with his kids that had come in from about 4 hours away, I told him not to worry about getting by to enjoy his kids we would break bread anytime he wanted to, just tell me his favorite meal and that's what we would have. He was very specific lol. You can tell my heart hurts this morning. Thank you for your prayers

Wow what a sit you down and make you think lesson I just had. While cleaning out some cabinets that had jars stored away for years, I came across one that had a sticker on it "Nanny's Strawberry Jam 6/27/07". The hard work of making strawberry freezer jam, the preparation for winter coming on, the laughter that no doubt filled my mother's kitchen as she made jam most likely with her sisters. Not a thought that in just a little over 2 months my mother would no longer be on this side of eternity.
At least I know my mother was ready to stand before her Saviour. I will never forget the morning she passed, I walked in to her hospital room and took her hand wrapped it in mine and patted it and told her I was there she smiled sort of, not at me but smiled. Then took 3 deep breaths and was gone. She had struggled with breathing problems for years but that morning she had no trouble with those 3 breaths. Revelation 22:1 "And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb'
stood at the forefront of my being I could not cry for her, she was home, her struggles was over, she is happy, and well. But she had no idea the day she was making strawberry jam that she would not be here to ever see a jar of it again.
How many of us make plans giving no thought what if. We have no promises of another heartbeat and if yours doesn't beat the next time it's supposed to, are you ready for eternity to begin? That day is coming ready or not and once you're there it's too late to do anything about it. Do you have friends and family? Are they ready should God call their name today? What have we done to help them be ready? Just wanted to share this little thought and truth with you. Have a great day in Jesus

Easter Schedule for Byrd's Chapel Baptist Church
Sunday April 5

7:15 or there about weather depending we will have our Sonrise Service out by the Cross.
As I have told several I think our Son Rise is being changed to Sonrose Service it's about a Risen Savior. He already has claimed victory over death and Hell. He already has His eternal life with Him that's why He can share it with you and I if we accept Him.

8:15-8::30 Breakfast time depends on who cooks men or women lol.
Women may be a touch faster.
Menu is Biscuits and Gravy, Bacon,Sausage, Hash browns Eggs ,Orange Juice and on and on

10:00am Sunday School

11:00am. A Special Easter Presentation written and directed by Mrs.Mary Laws.

A prayer request just came in for a lady that has been known since high school that has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer. We ask that you remember her when you pray. Also please don't forget today is a Matt day. We ask God to grant doctors wisdom to treat these people battling so hard, to lead the rest of the medical team and to strengthen, encourage and to heal according to His will.
