The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3. And He was saying,” That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts. Mark 7:20-21 Evil people are not to be hated, but pitied. They are our mission in life. Lives devoid of the good news are lives not worth living. Reach out to people who do wrong through your prayers. They need them most of all. Lord, show me how to love even the most unlovable. Instead of anger, let me show compassion. Fill my heart with a love that will overcome evil. Amen.

And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “ Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:9-11. “ Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10. Not to be confused with happiness,joy is not dependent on external circumstances. It’s a Holy Spirit-inspired mystery that defies all reason. Living joyfully is not denying reality. But in the midst of our parched desert times, our Heavenly Father reaches to lift and sustain us. Giver of strength, fill me with joy in the midst of sorrow like desert flower. Amen

His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou had been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mathew 25:21. Though you have not seen him, you love him, and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end results of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9. God’s joy isn’t base on our circumstances; rather, its roots begin with the seed of God’s Word planted in our hearts. Suddenly,our hearts spill over with joy, knowing that Hod loves us and that He has complete control of our lives. Joy is Jesus. Dear Jesus, knowing You surpasses anything and everything else the world offers. Never allow the joy in my heart to evaporate in the desert of difficulties. Amen

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13. Know therefore that the lord they God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments yo a thousand generations. Deuteronomy 7:9. Never does the Lord forsake His own. The only distance that is ever between us is the distance that we put there. Father, let me feel Your gentle weight upon my heart, and keep me ever mindful of Your presence in my life. You are always faithful. Amen
