And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.-(Ephesians 4:11-12) Believe us, we’ve been there…it’s tough to really buy into a On-line Ministry or Bible study unless you feel a certain connection with the one or the ones who are leading the M
inistry and/or study. The one thing you need to know about B.T.T.B.M. is this…it’s my relationship with the Lord that gets me up each and every morning. I just love the thought of waking up every morning knowing that I am in in God’s presence. In many down-to-earth ways it’s our relationship with Him and His constant presence with us that drives everything else we do in the course of the day. Not only in the obvious ways—like when we sit down for some devotion or study time, but when we’re in the car or with our kids or husbands/wives or shopping for groceries, no matter—it’s our attitude, our frame of mind, based on Him and His constant presence that shapes and flavors everything we do. I had studied the Bible on my own for years, long before I got things together to start Back to the Bible Ministries. I noticed that although many men, women & children knew they needed to experience salvation through Jesus Christ they really had no idea they could experience His presence, encouragement, and leading every day. I was frustrated as I looked around because I really couldn’t find a good tool that could help them to learn how to apply the Word of God themselves to their daily lives. I had been involved in helping others through a crisis intervention program for individuals & families before but decided to work together on a ministry & study that would help people find answers in Scripture for their own lives. As I began to share my new Ministry & Bible studies with others, I found that lives were changing. In many cases for the first time, people were getting answers to questions that they’d carried with them for a long time. And that got me excited about making these studies available to many more people. I finally decided after providing my Ministry & Bible Study services to others in person, via the U.S. postal services, etc.., that I would venture out a little more and try to reach people all over the world rather just here in America, and that is when I decided to put my services on Facebook! Here I can reach people from all over the world from various cultures, lifestyles, backgrounds, denominations, etc.., and bring something to the table everyone from everywhere can agree upon-wanting to have a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord, and the best way to accomplish this is by helping them to understand the word of God! I hope that you will gain insight & understanding into the word of God while developing a deep and meaningful relationship with Him at the same time while you are connected with me. I want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy life in abundance and with faith, courage & strength that can move mountains! My goal is to help make this possible for you, and to help you learn what it really means to live a Christian life and be one of God's disciples by going and sharing what you learn from me with others so they too can experience happiness that can only be found in God. I am here to assist you in your journey with God any way that I can, whether that means providing you services here on Facebook, sending you Bibles, books & devotionals via the U.S. postal service, speaking with you personally on the telephone or texting you on your cell phone, I want to do whatever it takes to help you in leading a happy and prosperous Christian life, and to help prepare you to share this with others as disciples of God, as we are all commanded by God to be.
