Our pastor's anniversary weekend was great! It was so nice seeing family members again Deborah Kelley, Culbreath and Laura Lipscomb!! Pastor Nolan's songs of praise like the good ole days were just what we needed! WeALL enjoyed the glorious presence of God from beginning til the end! Rev Turner, Great job coordinating these events, Sis! I praise God for our pastor, Pastor Burt Merriman! Yesterday, Pastor Barrlett "Pastor Bill" and his lovely wife joined us! That was lovely to have them with us! Thank You Lord for all you've done for us!

There's more! Today with my PT I walked ALL THE WAY AROUND MY HOUSE INSIDE without the cane or ANY assistance! I was discharged from home PT today. Im going to miss him. I'll keep walking with no assistance and even walk unassisted some outside! He was walking behind me, but I knew he was there. When Hubby is at work, I will walk with no one but God and the angels with me. When he is home, Ill walk with him. It's so beautiful out, I want to go out right now, but Im not dressed for outdoors!!

I'm a lil behind but Tuesday in PT, I walked all the way across our front lawn from the porch to the sidewalk, and my left ankle didn't twist or turn!!!! Yall that's VICTORY!! Before the ankle broke, any time I walked on grass, carpet, soft or uneven terrain, even a small incline, my left ankle would twist and turn over so much that I feared falling! My ankle and foot were swollen all the time! The specialist said it was anterior post tibialis- chronic inflammation of the muscle tissue that crosses in front of my ankle and wraps around my foot and calf to help the foot motion as I walk. Not only was it weak from the stroke, it was inflamed, so movement of that ankle-- correct movement-- was rare. I rarely saw my foot and ankle at normal size! The fall led to the entire ankle breaking which led to surgery. Now, that ankle has had so much prayer and metal fortifications that even the muscles and tendons are stronger now!! I couldn't walk on grass without danger of falling before. But I CAN NOW!! Praise GOD!! Every step with the left ankle felt solid and strong, stable. I did not even have to catch myself! I just walked across! My PT was so tickled. He exclaimed I didn't have to even touch you at all! You walked with confidence and you looked good! You did it!
