2 Corinthians 6:14–7:1

We are often tempted to compromise in relationships, mindsets, and influences that slowly pull us away from God.

Paul reminds us of 3 powerful truths:

1️⃣ Incompatibility
Light and darkness cannot walk together. This isn’t about isolating ourselves from people it’s about having wisdom concerning relationships and influences that pull our hearts away from Christ.

2️⃣ Identity
We are the sanctuary of the living God. What an incredible truth…the holy God of heaven chooses to dwell within us through His Spirit. Our identity is not found in culture, approval, or relationships… but in belonging to Him.

3️⃣ Invitation
God invites us into holiness, not out of shame, but out of love and closeness with Him.

Today is an opportunity to examine our allegiance and ask: What is shaping my heart more than Jesus?

Pain has a way of closing our hearts to people and eventually to God.

Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6 that real Gospel living looks like weakness and strength, grieving yet rejoicing, dying to ourselves so Christ can live through us.

Healing begins when we stop guarding the hurt and start opening our hearts to God again. He does the work in us. ❤️
