📣 Parent Meeting Wednesday Night! 📣

All parents of Peace education kids (3 year olds to 6th graders) are asked to attend an info meeting on Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30pm in the sanctuary.

If you haven’t already signed your kiddos up, you can that night. You can also pay the recommended $20 per child contribution.

📣 Don’t forget to download the Remind app to receive education announcements. Use class codes:

Help our children grow in faith!

We are in search of a volunteer to teach our 2nd Grade POW class.

This class meets Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. You’ll be provided materials to lead students through a lesson and activity each week.

We’re also looking for classroom helpers for both Wednesday and Sunday.

Our POW and Sunday School parent meeting is this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Peace Lutheran! If your kid is attending POW or Sunday School at Peace, this meeting is for you! 🎉

It’s also not too late to sign your kiddos up! This year we have an online sign up form (link in comments). There’s also a recommended contribution of $20 per child that can be paid that night.

💥POW - is Wednesday nights starting Sept 16 from 5:30 - 6:30 with a free supper starting at 5pm. Ages 3 year old to 6th grade.

⛪️ Sunday Littles - is Sunday mornings starting Sept 13 from 9:00-9:50. Ages 3 year old to 4th grade.

We are also still in search of a POW 2nd grade teacher! Reach out if you are interested.

🗓️ Save the Date: God’s Work. Our Hands.

On Sunday, September 13 our church will join congregations across the ELCA for God’s Work. Our Hands. A day dedicated to serving our neighbors and sharing God’s love through action.

We are looking for volunteers to complete projects like:
🖍️ Making greeting cards
🧽 Cleaning the Pioneer Village Museum
🥘 Making freezer meals for families in need

After, we’ll meet for a sub sandwich lunch.

Want to take part? We will meet at the church after Sunday worship.

🍪 We’re also looking for volunteers to bring bars for our lunch.

The classrooms are ready for POW/Sunday School to start. Natalie Smestad has been busy painting in each of our classrooms. Make sure you take a tour next time you are in the building and check them out. Great job, Natalie!!

🤩 It’s time to sign up for CONFIRMATION at Peace!

Confirmation is open to all 7th - 9th grade students. If your child has missed a year or two, it's okay, we will work with them to get them caught up. All Are Welcome.

💥Classes are held on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 with a required supper starting at 6:00 p.m.

This year we have an online sign up form. Please take a few moments and fill this form out for each student.
