Launched by Milwaukee Catholic Home in the spring of 2015, Clare Gardens is a farm to table program and community garden in partnership with the Franciscan Friars of the Assumption BVM Province. Our farm is a total of 5 acres growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers using organic practices, providing fresh, local produce to the residents of Milwaukee Catholic Home.

This week a youth group from St. Thomas Aquinas of Webster City, Iowa visited the St. Francis Monastery and Clare Gardens! After mass and a tour, they volunteered their time to help lay out solarization tarps and w**d and cultivate the sweet corn.
