Last minute reminder! Theology on Tap, tonight! 6:30 at Drink! See everyone there!

04/16/2012

A bit behind on the announcement this month, sorry! Fr. Dan Rupp from Christ the King/St. Anthony Parish will be speaking this Thursday on Catholic principles. It will definitely be an interesting talk.
Don't forget that this is a cash only event hosted at Drink (a few doors down from American Flatbread). This will be our final event before we take our summer break. See you at 6:30!

Prepare for the triumphant return of Julia Roberts!! This coming Thursday, Julia is coming back to speak with us again! If you missed her last year, she gave a fantastic talk that had everyone laughing all night! We're so excited to have her back! This time she'll be talking about what makes us human persons... how psychological issues relate to the spiritual life, virtues, etc.

Don't forget, Theology on Tap has moved to Drink! Located a couple doors down from American Flatbread (135 St. Paul St.). The new location features a ton of great seating, and $2 drafts!! It is, however, a CASH BAR. Food will also be provided by donation, as well.

Also, on another note, we're on the market for speakers. We're looking for a wide variety of people who can speak and relate to young professionals. So if you know anyone who might be good, bring their name to us Thursday night, or drop me a line here!

Thanks everyone, and see you Thursday at 6:30!

Don't forget! Theology on Tap tonight at our NEW LOCATION! We'll be at Drink (next to American Flatbread) at 135 St. Paul St. Also, it is a cash only bar now, so be sure to come with some cash on hand! John McMahon will be speaking tonight about the important of being involved in your parish. Feel free to come on by and bring a friend if you want! Event starts at 6:30 and the discussion begins around 7:00.
See you there!

Hi there! I want to remind everyone about Theology on Tap next Thursday night at 6:30. John McMahon from Holy Family/St. Lawrence will lead a discussion about the important of being involved in parish life. John has led a quite nomadic lifestyle until he was hired with Holy Family/St. Lawrence. The time he's spent in Essex Junction is some of the longest he's ever spent in one place, so his insights on involvement in parish life will be very interesting. I'm really looking forward to the meet!

Don't forget that Theology on Tap has moved!!! We are now located in the basement of Drink. Drink is located next to American Flatbread (on 135 St. Paul St). The event space is fantastic and we're excited to be involved with them. Thursday nights they have $2 drafts! Yay! Remember, though, that they only have a cash bar for us, so you'll need to have money on hand!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Theology on Tap has moved!!

We're absolutely thrilled to announce Theology on Tap's new location at Drink! Drink is a lovely bar located at 135 St Paul Street (next to American Flatbread). They have offered to host us in the event space on the ground floor of the establishment (1 floor below the St. Paul St entrance). The space is superb, and will give us a more private location for all of our guests and speakers. In addition, you can also expect $2 drafts (including Switchback!) as well as a large selection of other drinks.
Drink does not have a kitchen to prepare food in, so Jillian and I will be providing food for the group by donation.

Please note that they cannot take Credit Cards in the event space we'll be in... it is a cash only bar. So, I'll have to remember to start bringing money instead of relying on plastic!

Our first speaker in the new location will be John McMahon, the Faith Formation Director at Holy Family/St. Lawrence parish in Essex Junction. He will be leading a discussion about the importance of being involved in your parish. John is personal friend of Jillian and myself, and we can guarantee that it will be a fun event.

So come join us for our first Theology on Tap in our new location at Drink!!

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for the late post, Jillian and I been really busy lately. We were up until 1am on Friday night preparing materials for the VT Catholic Conference in Barre. We were happy to go and got to see some familiar face, too! : ) Thanks for all the support.
