To the grandfathers, uncles, mentors, and men who stepped in and loved someone else's child like their own. Your presence has made all the difference.
To those who are longing to be fathers — carrying that hope quietly, sometimes painfully. We see you today and we are with you.
To those who have lost their father — whether recently or years ago. Today can bring grief along with it. You are not alone.
And to those for whom today is complicated — whose relationship with their father or child is hard or painful. You are honored and you are welcome here exactly as you are.
