Heady- Someone without reasonable thought. They are reckless, without regard for the consequences of their actions.

We are seeing more and more men and women like this. They are motivated by their feelings. For some that’s all they have ever known. If it feels good, if it looks good, if it makes me happy… just do it.

The result, a whole lot of loss. Loss of marriages, loss of children, loss of jobs, loss of freedom. Prison, skid row, even loss of life- theirs and or others.

When someone gets to the point of “I don’t care what happens- I’m going to do what makes me happy.”God will be the One to get them where they need to be. Before that happens to you, continue to GET UP, GET READY, and GO to church.

Traitors- People who betray family, friends, or business partners. They will lie, cheat, steal and crush others to get them out of their way. Mainly done for fame or fortune.

Climbing the corporate ladder brings out the worst in men. Get another like on social media. Get a new follower. Get the promotion. Get a corner office. Many times comes at cost of a testimony that took years to build but lost in a few seconds of pleasure-

Is it really worth losing everything to gain something here on earth that you’ll never take with you? That new car, new boat, new significant other, new pair of shoes, corner office, lake house, or any other thing here on earth will be left behind; it’s not coming with you.

Live for Christ- Invest in eternity- Then hear Him say… Well done!!!

Despisers of those that are good- An individual that hates those that do right. They enjoy the fellowship of the wicked and have no kindness for the man that desires to honor and please God.

In this mob mentality world we are living in, right is wrong and wrong is right. You stand for Truth and someone will stand against you. Many attempt to distort your words and actions. Some go as far as causing bodily harm, and then there are those that have been totally overtaken by Satan- the murders of those that are good.

Friend, stand therefore! Stand in the gap, make up the hedge, be the watchman on the wall and keep shining the light of Jesus Christ in this dark, sin-sick world! Some will see. Some will repent. Some will thank you for not cowering down.

Don’t forget:

We will be working at the church tomorrow morning at 9am.

Cleaning the gutters and Lord willing fixing leaks on the gym roof.

We will also be cleaning out the back area of the Spanish Ministry building/ replacing a ballast/ a few more odds and ends-

Fierce- Untamed, savage, brutal.

Since 1968, American schools have taught that man evolved from apes. Once you leave that foundational Truth the result is a society that doesn’t value life. Isn’t that what we see almost 60 years later? There were more than 1,120,000 abortions last year in the United States alone. There were about 20,162 homicides in 2025, 127,527 rapes in 2024, and 870,931 assaults in 2024. I don’t think we have gotten any better in 2026. The natural man is doing what we do— sin. We are untamed by the Spirit of the Living God.

But I don’t believe just teaching kids that we were created in the image of God will cure the problem by itself. I believe getting kids back in the church house underneath preaching, teaching them the Truths found in the Word of God, and being a living example before them is what will truly make the difference. Until then, I don’t foresee anything changing in the world we live in.

Let’s pray that moms and dads, caregivers, and anyone that’s involved in a kid’s upbringing would wake up and see the real investment the local church is!
